Seeking out medical advice on a painful condition can be extremely stressful.  Not only can pain be a deterrent to normal physical activity, the fear of the unknown associated with your condition can create an immense amount of anxiety.  Dr. Willey's primary goal during every clinic visit is to assuage these fears through education.  He believes in reviewing imaging studies with you in person.  He believes in teaching about the natural history of each condition.   He feels that a proper understanding of the physical condition leads to better outcomes and improved function.  With proper understanding, a plan of care is then created and goals are set.  He and his staff work hand in hand with you through your plan of care to help accomplish your function goals.
